Mark’s fascination with India stemmed from his first visit, to Calcutta, thirty years ago.  The sensory assault, the vibrancy of the people and the city had a significant impression on him as an artist and a person.  Mark has since travelled to India multiple times to different regions to try and absorb and understand the culture of the country and its people.

Mark’s work conveys his love of India, from Rajasthan and Gujurat, down to Kerala, across the east coast to Bengal and up into the Himalayas, Mark has discovered a passion that drives the quality of his Indian art.
