India Part 1: Delhi – Friends, Markets, and India Artwork Inspo
Mark Clark’s journey to India kicked off in the lively capital city of Delhi, and he’s already finding loads of India artwork inspo around every corner. Known for its vibrant colors, bustling streets, and architectural wonders, Delhi is an endless source of artistic inspiration. This time, though, Mark’s visit is about reconnecting with friends, diving into local markets, and gathering fresh inspiration in a whole new way.
Friends & Familiar Places
Unlike past trips focused on Delhi’s iconic sights, this visit is about experiencing everyday Delhi—soaking in the laughter, conversation, and inspiration from time spent with friends. It’s here, in these moments, that India artwork inspo truly takes shape. Local markets, neighborhood hangouts, and genuine connections give a fresh perspective on the textures, colors, and stories that will shape his next pieces.
Markets & Mismatched Sales Signs
A trip to Delhi wouldn’t be complete without exploring its bustling markets, and Mark couldn’t resist browsing through them, searching for that one-of-a-kind inspiration. Among unique fabrics, crafts, and unexpected treasures, he stumbled upon some hilariously mismatched sales signs—“Buy 2, get 6?” Now that’s a deal! The quirky promotion had him imagining this “business model” back home at the Orange Tree in Baldock. If only such sales pitches worked in the gallery scene!
Finding India Artwork Inspo in the Unexpected
As always, Mark’s true inspiration comes from authentic, everyday experiences: shared laughter, vibrant market scenes, and the surprising color palettes of Delhi’s bazaars. These are the moments that fill him with India artwork inspo, sparking ideas for paintings and drawings that blend texture, color, and cultural flair. The bright oranges, rich blues, and intricate patterns of Delhi’s local life are already starting to take root in his sketches.
Mark’s Indian adventure is only beginning. Delhi’s unforgettable energy and charm are leaving a mark, promising that this trip will bring fresh colors, stories, and perspectives into his future artwork.
Stay tuned for more updates as Mark travels further into India, collecting India artwork inspo at every stop! Who knows? Maybe a “Buy 2, Get 6” inspired piece will make its way into his next collection!
