Returning to Rajasthan

I have spent the last few months in my studio working on my largest ever commission – a family of eleven ranging in age from grandparents to new baby. This was followed by a portrait commission. I’m now excited to start working on my next piece – focussing on the people of Rajasthan. What I love most about this part of India is the colour, the vibrancy and the light. I position my figures in varying landscapes, whether in a fort town such as Jodhpur, Jaipur, Udaipur and Jaiselmer, or a desert or lake scene such as those found at the Pushkar Camel Fair.

I am also very attached to Gujurat and cannot wait till I am able to return to my beloved India now that travel restrictions are lifting.
